Her career began as the frontwoman of Utopians, the garage rock band she led for more than a decade. With the band, she performed on some of the region?s biggest stages and earned a Latin Grammy nomination. Following the group?s breakup in 2017, Recanati launched her solo career, redefining her sound by moving away from raw punk and embracing a post-punk and new wave aesthetic shaped by lush synthesizers, chorus-soaked guitars, and an introspective sense of melancholy.
