Total Hip Replacement is known for its energetic and unique live concerts. The music grows from solid roots of reggae, soul, afro and indie, uniting pulsating grooves, colourful horn riffs and soul drenched vocals. 2022-2024 has been explosive years for the band seeing the release of the "Anyankofo" album and extensive touring in Europe, South America and West Africa with more than 120 shows and thousands of listeners. Both album and live- shows were critically acclaimed with good reviews in mag- azines and radio. This culminated with succesful perfor- mances at legendary festivals such as Bout Du Monde (FR) and Reggae Jam (DE).
In September 2024 the band released their new album "Would It Be The Same?, exploring a more intimate side of the band. The album is self-recorded on the road in Brazil and in the bands studio. Facing both global issues and personal sides of life, the album seeks to explore the cracks in society and in ourselves.
